Camille L. Stauber, RLA

Camille is the President of Sustainable Places®, Inc., and is an Illinois Registered Landscape Architect and Certified Teacher. Her education includes a Masters in Landscape Architecture from Harvard University and a BA in Math-Science Education. She founded Sustainable Places®, Inc. over 20 years ago and has helped many clients create beautiful landscapes that reduce stormwater flooding and carbon emissions. Her residential, commercial and institutional work demonstrates successful connections between landscapes and architecture. Most importantly, Camille has helped the transition to beautiful, sustainable landscapes.

Joel V. Stauber, RA

Joel is Vice President of Sustainable Places®, Inc. and has cross-disciplinary professional skills in Land Use Planning, Urban Design and Architecture. Education includes a Masters in Urban Design from Harvard University and a Bachelor in Architecture from the University of Oregon. With over 27 years of experience, including positions at the Chicago architectural firms of Lohan Anderson and OWP/P, he has been responsible for a wide range of highly visible projects including work in commercial, government, health care, residential and mixed-use projects. Joel is passionate about creating sustainable environments, ranging from the regional scale to individual building and landscape improvements.
